RO PAD / NANO PAD – Compact Water Treatment System
RO PAD and NANO PAD are modern compact water treatment systems designed primarily for installation under a kitchen sink. Unlike conventional reverse osmosis systems, where filter housings, the membrane housing, tubing and other components remain visible, most components are enclosed within a single housing.
This design reduces the amount of space occupied by the system while protecting its internal components from accidental damage. It also helps keep the under-sink area neat and organised.
RO PAD
RO PAD uses Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology. The RO membrane is the key component responsible for high-efficiency water purification. Depending on the particular version, the system may also incorporate pre-filtration, post-filtration and additional water treatment stages.
The system can reduce a significant proportion of dissolved salts and many other contaminants rejected by the RO membrane. Purified water is then supplied to a dedicated drinking-water faucet or a suitable kitchen faucet.
NANO PAD
NANO PAD uses a similar enclosed design but incorporates a different membrane technology. A nanofiltration membrane has different separation characteristics from a conventional RO membrane. Therefore, RO PAD and NANO PAD should not be considered identical filtration systems.
The appropriate system should be selected according to the incoming water quality, its composition and the required treatment result.
