Why are other RO systems so wasteful

In most households, conventional RO systems consistently operate at their lowest level of efficiency, wasting up to 24 gallons of water for every gallon of filtered water produced.

Easy Maintenance

The WSP series is flushable and reusable. It is recommended to flush it regularly (daily or weekly), depending on the water usage, sediment amount and the hardness level. Installation:

Installation Will Require:

- Two 1" NPT female connectors and enough tubing to connect from the water softener to your existing plumbing. You may have copper, PVC, CPVC, steel or PEX plumbing. Each of these plumbing types may require different materials and different tools for installation.

- A drain is necessary for the regeneration or recharge process. Drain tubing is supplied, but if your drain is further than 10 feet away, you will need to purchase enough 1/2" tubing to reach your drain. The drain should not be more than 30 feet away from the softener and the drain line should not be elevated more than 8 feet above the base of the water softener.

- The power cord (transformer) needs to be plugged into a 110V continuous live outlet (standard). The unit comes with a 10-foot power cord.

Purification of water

Charcoal, or carbon, filters are widely used because they are small, portable and very inexpensive. Charcoal water filters can be installed under the sink or on the faucet. You can even buy charcoal water filter pitchers. This type of water filter is effective at filtering out some bacteria along with chlorine. The amount of impurities filtered will depend upon the micron size of the filter. The carbon can also be treated with nano-silver which improves its filtering performance. KDF media can be added which creates zinc oxide within the cartridge which helps to kill bacteria and prolong the life of the filter. The only drawback is that these filters work by trapping and holding onto contaminants and this makes them susceptible to growing mold. The filter should be changed every few months to prevent this.

Distillers are not very common water filters for home use. They are effective at removing contaminants and minerals but many people think it is better for the body if water contains at least some beneficial minerals rather than drinking distilled water where the minerals have been stripped out. Still others believe that distilled water is the purest water and best for your body. Reverse osmosis is a natural process, the essence of which is to separate the water particles from the dissolved substances in it. The heart of this system is the osmotic membrane, which is a semi-permeable thin film combined with polypropylene non-wovens and activated carbon. This allows water to be free from such pollutants as toxic and carcinogenic chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses.

Perfection of the Water Cooler is based on the use of 4-stage water purification technology. After removing the front cover of the distributor we have immediate access to all filters. On the left is a pre-filtered 5 micron polypropylene non-woven filter that eliminates larger water insoluble mechanical impurities such as rust, slurry, sand, mud, etc. On the right, the carbon filter eliminates chlorine and some organic impurities. The osmotic membrane removes 96-98% of all water-soluble compounds as well as bacteria and viruses.

The final carbon or mineralization filter removes volatile substances by giving the water the specific taste of natural spring water. The Water Cooler contains 3 water tanks. Water Softening Filters

Hard calcium and magnesium ions stick to the bed during the flow of water. We separated the limescale from the water. Each water softener is equipped with an additional saltwater tank - brine. This brine cyclically dissolves the accumulated rock from the deposit and discharges it into the sewer.
